Linda Dragonette –Is an award-winning artist whose work is in many private and corporate collections. Having lost most of her vision due to a hereditary eye disease called Retinitis Pigmentosa, she has had to change the way she paints many times. Painting in the medium that allows her to see more clearly. It is a challenge she has learned to embrace. Her style has changed over the years. She has embraced Abstract Expressionism, which she paints in oil. She has adopted a more contemporary style of painting with loose brushwork and palette knife. Color is a feeling for her. Whatever the subject matter, she continues to be inspired by Rembrandt for value, Brian Rutenburg for color and joy, and John Hyche for elegance.
